There are instructions for refitting a drive to the ultrabay, and that is simply a physical operation for the most part. Hi, thanks for reply. You say, that there are possibilities to make the devices fitting by using some mechanical tricks? Do you have some more infos about that, or any link please?

NEC DVD-Burner in R50/p?
Hi folks, because my Multiburner makes some trouble and i think about more DVD-RAM writing speed, i think about replacing it. So i found some panasonic/matsumi devices and for example also a NEC AD-7543A which has nice possibilities. From a distance (in the papers) it looks quite the same, but often...

Question about R50P GPU temperatures.
Hi folks. After a long time, i ask myself, if there is any solution now, to cool down the GPU of my R50P. I remember, that there was a kind of T40? fan which maybe could be implemented, because it had a (better?) heatpipe. Or is there any software-trick to cool it down? The background is, that "fanc...

Access Connections Windows-Logon-feature
Hi folks. Does someone use this functionality? In the past i ran without it, but i installed by scratch and found that such a feature is implemented. But it is very slow durich logging in with this functionality. Unluckily i can't find any detailed infos about that. Can someone post his experiences ...

Hi egibbs, thanks for replying. Yes, you're right, i have to search for a used keyboard. :-) But it's not that complicated to repair it. It's just a question of minutes. I did it twice, because i exchanged my damaged mechanic (key "B") with another key, which i don't need so often. It's really easy....

Searching for one Key-mechanic of any R50 keyboard.
Hi folks. :-) I have a defect key on my R50P keyboard. At IBM i can only find finde complete keyboards. :-( I had the possibility to get an old IBM Thinkpad keyboard, but tthe key-mechanic didn't fit. So i expect it must be a quite new one, from R50/51(p) or T40/41/42/(p) or so. I made some pictures...
