Own solution: Access Connections autom. profile switching.

Hi folks, because I always have had trouble with Access Connection switching my profiles automatically, I made my own solution. My program surely uses Access Connections and won't replace it. Background: The automatic switching between the profiles depending on the current network-environment never ...

There are instructions for refitting a drive to the ultrabay, and that is simply a physical operation for the most part. Hi, thanks for reply. You say, that there are possibilities to make the devices fitting by using some mechanical tricks? Do you have some more infos about that, or any link please?

Ok, because there is no reply yet, it seems nobody has expiriences with that.

What about exchanging it with other Panasonic/Matsumi devices which support fast DVD-Ram writing?

Any expiriences in that direction?
Or any hints what i would have to take care of generally?

NEC DVD-Burner in R50/p?

Hi folks, because my Multiburner makes some trouble and i think about more DVD-RAM writing speed, i think about replacing it. So i found some panasonic/matsumi devices and for example also a NEC AD-7543A which has nice possibilities. From a distance (in the papers) it looks quite the same, but often...

Hi folks.
I just wanna inform the forum and the author that the tool is running very well with a R50p.

Maybe this info could be added to the readme.

Regards,
Axel

I took a look in my control panel:
"11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter"
This is the WIFI i already have in my R50p.
Should be the same, or?
Nevertheless my already supports the "g" standard, thats why is was surprised. ;)

I removed keyboard and with air duster blew out a lot of dirt and contaminations. So after this procedure the temperatures decreased and now is 40-45C. Hi Did. Thanks for reply. Thats an idea too. I will take a look in. You are talking about a difference of nearly 15C. Thats really much. Are you re...

Question about R50P GPU temperatures.

Hi folks. After a long time, i ask myself, if there is any solution now, to cool down the GPU of my R50P. I remember, that there was a kind of T40? fan which maybe could be implemented, because it had a (better?) heatpipe. Or is there any software-trick to cool it down? The background is, that "fanc...

Hi folks. Does someone use this functionality? In the past i ran without it, but i installed by scratch and found that such a feature is implemented. Hi egibbs, thanks for replying. Yes, you're right, i have to search for a used keyboard. :-) But it's not that complicated to repair it. It's just a question of minutes. I did it twice, because i exchanged my damaged mechanic (key "B") with another key, which i don't need so often. It's really easy....

Searching for one Key-mechanic of any R50 keyboard.

Hi folks. :-) I have a defect key on my R50P keyboard. At IBM i can only find finde complete keyboards. :-( I had the possibility to get an old IBM Thinkpad keyboard, but tthe key-mechanic didn't fit. So i expect it must be a quite new one, from R50/51(p) or T40/41/42/(p) or so. I made some pictures...
