It is 2668-peg. It is manufactured in 07 Nov 2006 (shown in IBM ACCESS and has 3 years warranty). It is labled T43p but it is labled as " lenovo T43p". It comes with 128M V3200 graphic card, but if I search the mode number in ibm.com, it shows T43, not t43p.

So, is my thinkpad real t43p?

I am going to buy a t42p or t43p. I saw some where it was said the t43p is quite hot and noisy. So I think if there is warranty available, I'd better to choose t42p. Is that correct?

I am watching ebay these days. I found if I want to buy a good laptop within the budget, the only way is Ebay US or here. I am not quite sure which one I need, which depends on the specification of the machine. It was one T42p on ebay yesterday, which has 2.0G cpu, 2G ram, 15 UXGA, 100G 7200rpm HD, ...
