Again, all T/R/Z6x and T/R4xx/5xx keyboards are all interchangeable with each other; see here . The T60 keyboard is the same as the R60 keyboard is the same as the Z60/61 keyboard (right down to the FRU number), and the T61 keyboard is the same as the R61 keyboard (again, exact same FRU...compare th...

Yup, and once you find one, you're likely to pay a pretty penny for it! Those lucky SOBs who have one (which includes myself ;)) are not about to let go of them, at least not easily!

Unfortunately, that page on ThinkWiki is not entirely correct, and I believe that some of the confusion is because it seems like a lot of the time when there is an Atheros chip that /proc/pci doesn't know about it spits out AR5212 as its response. I know that we have more than a few AR2413-based Min...

Re: T400 keyboard

Will a T40 keyboard work as well in the T400? No. T4x all share keyboards with each other, but only within the same-size system; so, all 14" screen T40, T41, T42, and T43 systems use the same keyboard and you can buy a 14" T43 keyboard FRU and install it in a T40. You cannot buy a 15" T43 keyboard ...

That's right, UltraNav is just a trademark name that IBM came up with to describe their TrackPoint + touchpad combo system. The TrackPoint is an IBM homegrown technology that they don't "get" from anyone else; in fact I believe that the patent might still be in effect and they license it to other co...

I would much rather take the looks of the T60, with the thin neat bezel, even if it means that the WWAN antenna (on select models) sticks out on the outside of the laptop. I concur; your problem is a virus called "Windows Vista." A lot of computer manufacturers have been caught allowing this on the computer out of the factory; really embarrassing. The only way to rid yourself of this particular virus is to format and install Windows XP (or Linux). ;-)
