I've been using a Verizon pc 5740 for EVDO broadband wireless on my old Thinkpad G series just fine. But recently, I got an R60. The VZ connection is 2-3x slower on the R60., and also undergoes repeated hardware disconnects (powering off the card.) I had Lenovo replace the pc-card slot, without help...
