@HarryWild 1) should be possible, however i read that one has to modify the bios since it checks for known cards or something like that. 2) lcd-frame is a nice spot, however somewhere in the case should work aswell ( you just lose some signal). so when you have a radius of 50m with the antenna in th...

thx for the offer @ MadeInJapan however i doubt that any postal office will allow shipping of LI-ion-batteries, UPS and others do owever ship without asking ( or you just say nothing *g*). i think the shipping to germany would be 10-20 bucks ... so way to much for 4 batteries. eh lol, for the fun i ...

a mini-pci-wifi-card could work in a tp600x. i have an tp600e and use an asus wl-110 which is a wireless cf card. to connect it to my pcmcia i bought some time ago a cf-to-pcmcia-adapter, was pretty unexpensive, only 5 Euro. Everything works fine, my Accesspoint is from 3com (3CRWE454G72). usually i...

@MadeInJapan: its not getting really hot + charging aint that slow. i usually use my ac-adapter for charging while not at home. at home i use the dockingstation.
with the standard a/c-adapter my battery is charged with ~20W up to 80% or so, then it drops (thats what mobilemeter shows).
