x201 tablet ExpressCard eject button
Hey...just received my notebook back from repairs; I'm wondering...is the eject button for the expresscard slot supposed to pop out once you push it? I could have sworn it used to do that (w/o any Expresscard inserter). Or, does it only pop out once you have card inserted? Thanks.

OSX 10.9.2 on Thinkpad x201 Tablet Type 2985 hangs @ install
Regarding OSX 10.9.2, I've tried both UniBeast and Clover. Same problem...it hangs just after the bluetooth. I've tried the cpus=1, -v -X, GraphicsEnabler=no, and also the npci=0x2000 and npci=0x3000 flags separately and in combination. Every time, it hangs here (see photos - left and right sides of...

Re: Difference between FRU 45N5570 and 44C4872 (palmrest)?
The x301 had two palm rests available - the difference being the touchpad. One is a standard Alps the other a Synaptics with Multitouch capabilities. I would double check this, but I'm pretty sure the 45N5570 is the Synaptics; I have had both & I much prefer the Synaptics. IIRC there is a thread at...

Difference between FRU 45N5570 and 44C4872 (palmrest)?
What's the difference between the two FRUS below? I'm interested in replacing my palmrest w/ fingerprint reader on my X301 (Type 2777-CTO) since the plastic casing just in front of the mouse keys is cracked. I downloaded the maintenance manual for the X301, and there are TWO different FRUs listed on...

Okay...thanks...does anyone know what the standard warranty on the dock is? I bought the notebook/dock as a single SKU item #, which is why I was confused....lead_org wrote:Accidental warranty applies to the laptop but not to the extra accessories.

warranty woes on docking station that came w/ my x201t
Hi, I bought my thinkpad w/ the accidental damage protection upgrade. It came (as part of the package) w/ the thinkpad x200 dock. The docking station has damage (the plastic covering the notebook power adapter is broken). I want to get the docking station replaced, but when I called Lenovo, they did...

Re: Atheros based wifi card for x201t that WON'T trigger hissy
Hm..yeah...thanks I know about the modded bios, but I was looking to not have to mod my bios. That may not be possible, I guess, since none of the official FRUs are Atheros-based. Is there an expresscard based or SD card based solution people have used?

Anyone have a 802.11 N card that will work in my Thinkpad x201t w/out giving it a hissy fit? I want to install OSX...:o) From searching this forum, I know about FRU 43Y6465, but that card doesn't support 802.11N... :-( However, does anyone know if this part # will work w/out a bios mod? 42T0825 ====...

Hi,
Thanks...I know it's apples to oranges...but still wanted an idea of how much faster/slower the actual CPU is at doing calculations (not graphics intensive). Anyone got some values? How do they also compare to an i7 920?
Thanks.

X301 vs. X201 tablet (su9400 vs. i7 620m)?
Hi All,
Just bought another X301 (this time the 1.4 Ghz one w/ the SU9400) as well as an X201 tablet (got it free for work). I can't find any good benchmark comparisons between the two processors. How much slower is the x301's SU9400 compared to the i7 620m in the X201 tablet?

Help Need Part # for the LCD in the x60 tablet w/ multitouch
