Re: Which pci device driver am I missing? Please help!

There is a pm device driver in the driver matrix. I mention this one because it is commonly missed. The fact that you have a logitech device listed causes me to suggest to you that if you have any other devices plugged into your laptop you need to definitely unplug those until you get this sorted. G...

Re: T60 and atheros ABGN card

Did you installed the 3rd antenna? Without a proper termination, the 3rd antenna port may just radiate a bunch of garbage. I doubt that is an issue as Lenovo currently ships vast numbers of Thinkpads with the Draft N cards installed minus any connection for the third antenna. I have the Atheros N c...

So, I have a an onsite service center near my house....

There is a D.O.D. nuclear facility in our area and therefore an onsite support company that does warranty work for Lenovo.

How might I get them to swap my CPU out and also not have it cost me a fortune and also allow my machine to remain under warranty?

Hello again. Do T6x's with Flexview AND true support for 4GB's RAM exist? After reading the sticky, my hunch is no, but is there a work around? Perhaps upgrading the processor and chip set when I go to Vista SP1. Thanks again folks. A great site that you have here! Yes they exist. There is no way t...

CPU upgrade and warranty questions...

I would like to upgrade the CPU in my T60P. I currently have the 2.0 GHz Yonah. I have two questions: How can I upgrade and not lose my warranty status? I am wanting to resell my current cpu so just replacing it for a warranty service issue is not going to help. Also, it seems to me that if Lenovo p...

Unless I am mistaken, this setup will leave you without power supplied through the firewire cable. Unless I'm mistaken power shouldn't be a problem as the camcorder should have its own power supply. I used an Adaptec DuoConnect AUA-1422 PCMCIA card on my T60p and it worked quite well in transferrin...

While the X1400 is not a slow card, the v5250 is definitely worth it to me. What people do not seem to realize is that generally everything that a computer is doing is largely displayed on the screen. A slow video card can be a bottleneck for perfomance. especially on laptops where the connection is...

I have a T60p with the WWAN card installed.
If I want the best Atheros card and opt not to install this antenna,
is that a problem?
Will I be better off just going with the wireless card without the N capability?

Thanks

you might try heating it gently with a blow drier and then perhaps using 6 or 8 lb. test fishing line to seperate it from the surface it is affixed to.

This method is used successfully when removing stickers from vehicles.

I'm sympathetic that you may not get the screen you hoped for, but I can't fault Lenovo either since they are sending an UXGA Flexview, as advertised. They just sourced from a different vendor, which is normal practice. Yes Lenovo is within their rights to send me any EQUIVALENT display they like. ...
