The volume on my T60 is horrible. Even with everything to the max (yes, the hardware and software volume all to the max), it is too soft. Does anyone have experience with these external speakers, or anything like it?

What is the best way to upgrade the soundcard and speakers? Is that possible? The sound in my old T40p is terrible. I'm about to get a T60p or T61.

I'm about to buy a T60p. It has no optical device checked at checkout, and only gives you one option. If you check it, it raises the price $50, but I don't see any difference on the final order.
