I had previously an Acer TPC which came with both a normal size pen and this smaller mb200. In the bigger one it was very easy to take out the eraser part which woudl do for 'clicking and tapping'. It was way shorter than mb200, a bt fatter though.

For me the biggest advantage is that u dont have hold your pen while browsing the web, or to just press one button. It is a time saver nothing more.

That extra few minutes might save the day. I rarely use that app (but I think it's great it's here) since I have the possibility to recharge whenever I want. As for wireless I found (looking at the watt meter) that it has also almost no effect on power consumption if you use it to check your email o...

You could switch off dwm/aero. It takes up to 90MB of your RAM and puts some pressure on the graphic card. There is a handy app called Vista Battery Saver which would automatically disable aero once you unplugged your notebook.

I know the pain. This is an issue with Windows, I guess. It's like the pen/touch input is only for the primary desktop, how stupid, isnt it? You could use UltraMon it will change the primary monitor, or rather move alt-tab, and taskbar to what windows thinks is its secondary monitor. It could also p...

Check if your pen is OK (either on some other tablet or with the rubber end on your own). Try installing Wacom drivers ( http://www.wacom.com/tabletpc/driver.cfm ) and install them. If this doesnt work, than, well, I guess ull have to do a factory resotre to check if your digitizer is broken or if i...

Re: scrollbars for tablet PCs

Is there anyway to get your scrollbars to appear on the left side of the screen instead of the right? I'm using an x60 tablet with windows XP tablet edition. Im left-handed so I researched that a lot but didnt find any solution to that problem. There is an extension for Firefox (Gecko TIP) which wi...

Re: Cloverleaf Power cord on all thinkpads?

<snip> Wow, that sounds encouraging. Every picture of a thinkpad ac adapter I have seen is the 3 pin cloverleaf type. <snip> Ronan I have always been thankful that over here (North America), and maybe other places as well, ship the two wire A/C cord. Works great and works anywhere I have been in No...

Re: X60 Tablet - need wisdom on creating a unit for purchase

I have been using Agilix GoBinder for supporting my coursework on the desktop, which is less than optimal - that is why I want to go portable. Are any of you familiar with this software? How might it overlap with the the Tablet PC software? Gobinder has inking capabilities since day one. And as far...
