Asus RT-AC68U and every other device in the house works flawlessly. I'll have to check the power saving option but should it kick in while I'm actively surfing?

Is anyone using this wireless card with a T60P (2623)? I modded the bios and it worked but had trouble resuming the network connection when I opened the lid. Other than that it worked fine. Post 3356 here is a very commonly recommended one but I couldn't get it to work. It said the ROM file was corrupt. I may have been doing something wrong.

How old is "old"? AFAIK, Zender only made one modded version for T60...

I have a T43 that was getting resource conflicts pci on the motherboard and would not attempt to boot windows. Just for grins I placed it on my leg and pressed on the left and right side of the laptop to flex it and it booted up. Does this mean the motherboard need to be replaced?

I actually have plenty of licenses. I have an action pack from MS.

My thinking is that I could use an image capture tool for the existing Vista install and the use the XP recovery discs to create a new install and capture that install and the use both instances and dual boot from them.

Any thoughts on that?

I am confused. My tablet came with Vista preinstalled and also shipped with XP recovery cd's in the box. That gives me the option to use either one. I should be able to use either and I don't understand why it would make it unusable.
