I have installed a PCI Express USB card (4 ports) into my Advanced Dock PCI bay. When the machine is docked and started Windows does not recognize the card. If I restart Windows the card is recognized. If I undock and start in undocked profile then shutdown and redock the card will not be recognized...

I am looking at the slot in my advanced dock and it sure looks like a standard PCI slot. All pictures I see of PCI Express boards have a much smaller connection area than the slot that is in my dock. The decision was made for me. The core duo was out of stock when I ordered it so I got the xsvga+ core 2 duo.
