My P71 - running under Windows 10 Professional - is very noisy- seems to run rough or make a grinding noise
Is this a defect?
Is this just part of the laptop?
This started soon after the laptop was out of warranty.
Any ideas on what to do?

I guess the SSD which I have might be the cause.

I am trying to establish the fastest network connection speed I can achieve on my W700ds (2757CTO).
The published specifications indicate that this is 1 gigabyte but add that this is "through the motherboard". Does this mean that I need to connect using the docking station to achieve this speed?

I have 2 T60 thinkpads, a widescreen and a normal.
the Widescreen has a really good keyboard, but the other has one which has keys which keep on becoming dislodged.
What should I purchase, and where can I get it as it is obvious that I need to replace the keyboard

I am trying to set up a peer to peer network between my two notebooks, a T60 and a T42p.

I cannot get the two computers to communicate. Had no difficulty getting two T60s to see each other and communicate, however.

Any ideas?

Do I use the same drive caddy for both the Advanced Dock and the Ultrabay in my T60?

I have bought an Advanced Dock for use with my T60.
I would like to use all of the features which this piece of equipment offers, but am unable to find documentation describing how to do this.

Which PCI cards are compatible, and where can I read up on the obvious capabilities of the Advanced Dock?

I have a T60, but am having problems staying connected to the Internet, as the wireless connexion continually turns itself off.
