My T61p does not start anymore
I`ve got a Thinkpad T61p with 14" SXGA+. About a month after the warranty expiration I seem to have got a severe problem: The Thinkpad does not start at all. Instead it just gives me a beep message that goes as follows: long - short short short - short short short - long When I turn the unit on I he...

Re: T61 13% higher battery drain after bios update when idle ?!
It might be the fan running more often due to an effort to cool the NVidia graphic cards more intensely.
But thats just guessing.

Re: T61 Nvidia Graphic Card dieing? Or LCD? Help please
I recently bought a 14" SXGA+ T61p with discrete NVidia Graphics and so far it runs cooler than my brother´s T60p with ATI graphics (which is actually the noisiest Thinkpad I ever saw). My Nvidia 8800 GT in my desktop (of course not comparable but in the same GPU "family") is even cooled passively b...

Hello, I am trying to install an 8 GB SanDisk Extreme IV in my X41 for hours now. Here is my problem: Assuming your card has a single FAT32 partition, here's what you need to do: 1) Install the CF card. Use only one card if you're using the dual slot adapter or the XP install program will fail. -> p...

It was shipped to Germany fast and without any problems. The unit is in great condition and is running marvellously fast. I can recommend tonepaq as a reliable seller.
Best wishes, Jan.

Hello ajkula66, I am very much interested in buying this Thinkpad. I do live in Germany. What is the price of shipping to Europe? I already wrote you a PM for further details. Best wishes, Jan. I congratulate the buyer. It was a great offer. I'm sorry, I did not buy it in the end. But shipping to Eu...

Hello, It seems interesting, indeed. I suppose you can stick every type of PCI graphic card (or, even an AGP card, using a PCI /AGP riser :P), for example, but you still must have an external screen. :) W. You are apparently refering to this: http://www.interfacemasters.com/products/pci_tools/im380...

Hello bobgarty, I would be interested in one of your speedstep mainboards. Could you ship them to Germany and if yes how much was the cost of shipping? If you have a compatible MMC-2 processor with 850 Mhz, I'd be interested in that as well. I will send you a PM with my contact. Best wishes, Jan. PS...
