Re: X200T or X201T?
I do not agree with the comment about the grainyness. I have the X201t now after having owned an X61t (both touch) and I do not see any grainyness (or fingerprints, like on the X61t) on the new screen. I find it great. The touch is nice and intuitive, and it's quite a technological leap from a X60 t...

Re: replacing an XGA to an SXGA on a T60 14 inch
Again, thank you very much for your comprehensive and clear messages. Much appreciated after the initial shock. :( This time I ordered the XGA but from Prime elektronic components on eBay as a kit, the whole thing, screen with panel, hinges antenna's and all. New! Original!!! And yes, it has been a ...

Re: replacing an XGA to an SXGA on a T60 14 inch
RealBlackStuff,
Thank you very much for your helpfull info. Do you also know why this is and why it then at least does not give me a XGA 1024 x 768? Is there a way to work around this, that it will accept this screen?
Thanks

Re: replacing an XGA to an SXGA on a T60 14 inch
Thank you for your reply, i think it maybe be the LCD cable so i will buy this one new first and see if it solves the issue. And no.... a new original IBM LCD would have set me back another 340 Euro's, an amount i first of all I don't have and don't think the laptop is worth it. I ordered a screen f...

Re: replacing an XGA to an SXGA on a T60 14 inch
I managed to put in the new SXGA screen but it starts off black and then slowly starts in the right bottom corner vertically sending up colloms of different light. this then slowly happens also more and more to the left side of the screen. I opened the Thinkpad up again and went looking for a clue.....

reinstalled the hotkey driver driver, but still i have the exact same problem! This is a Business version also, and it can't get anymore annoying than this! I hope Lenovo will find out where this glitch is. For now, anybody any suggestions? Everything is fully up to date. Thanks ( to all the vista h...

Good idea, i hope a lot more developers and engineers are going to be impressed and inspired by the "Cradle to Cradle concept", don't know if Asus is working inspired on their ideas, but whatever floats the boat, i guess. I was absolutely stunned by the amazing ideas these men have brought us and Th...

Hello Sugo, That sounds like a very good idea, some people here are also trying to find ways to boot from flash media, for instance CF in a ATA/IDE adapter or in the PCM-CIA slot, i saw you'd replied questions about this earlier. But booting or not (wich to me sounds ideal) i have a T60, and this do...
