Well, this part was meant for the R60 as well as the T60/1/P. There must be removable rails or bezel to span the gap for the Ultrabay Enhanced bay of the R60.

Here's my solution after hours of testing: 1. Turn off Windows Vista TCP auto-tuning (TCP-Window-Size detection) 2. Increase max. number of network connections from 2 to 99999 3. I'm thankful for it, but I wonder if Lenovo will ever develop a backlit keyboard, or one with lcd/oled keycaps. If they do, the ThinkLight might disappear due to redundancy.

No, I had it in the case in my backpack and all of a sudden I have a huge dent it it. Looks like I'm going to throw this thing o...

Sorry to hear it, but I'm not surprised. I wonder whether or not the internal label is real, but if it is, and real versions of the case have the same label, then it could be that they're illegally sold seconds. I only keep that possibility alive in my mind because there used to be Thinkpad assembly...

CSS started to reboot my ThinkPad seemingly at random, so I just went and removed it. Not having chose the fingerprint reader, I don't see it as too much of a loss, but I liked the added password protection. If there's a workaround or fix for this, I'd like to know.

CSS Removes Access Connections GUI Repeatedly

I'm not sure why this is happening. I can still configure my adapter via the settings under the wlan taskbar icon, but the independent ACS app is repeatedly removed after CSS prompts a reboot. It started after the System Upgrade app updated several apps, including itself. Then I noticed that, after ...

It is possible. They only have to return it in factory condition. Any part may get replaced with factory replacement parts. Assuming you were responding to my comment... This can't be replaced, except with the same component, so I wouldn't be worried about that. What worries me is if they would pul...

I'd choose a) ThinkPad 11 a/b/g... because Atheros has better range than Intel cards and is more compatible with the OS's that I run. (.e.g Linux). I won't be converting to wireless 'n' in the next (3) years so that feature has little appeal to me. There is an Atheros (Thinkpad) 11a/b/g/n card out ...

Sir, go with R61. R series has progressed alot, has become almost as identical as T61 with little to no difference in terms of features comparatively, the only downside is; it's appearance is more thicker than T61 but honestly after seeing one in person I would say it's still very portable. I recently bought a 2GB Sandisk Ultra II for the same purpose, but ended up splurging on 4GB of RAM anyhow.

Now I wonder if the card is simply redundant now, or if it still helps a bit.
