Nomad 1977.... Bravo!.. First Class Instructions and write-up :thumbs-UP:. Re: Question regarding an mSATA-IDE Adapter for the X41
Hi. I have a pair of X41T models, one of which has been converted with an MSATA-IDE board. Runs flawlessly with WinXP. On the weekend I can dig out the converted model (and my associated notes) from storage and let you know exactly which IDE board and MSATA drive I used, probably can include a few p...

Hi All. I've got a set of T30 Win2K recovery discs packed away if that's of any use to someone. Problem is...I've just moved, and they are well and truly packed away, probably in an unmarked packing box...one of about 130 to go through.... Probably be a week or two before I get to them, but if urgen...

Rvarbean.
I made images of the 365XD Supplemental files awhile ago...See:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=130645#p850245
You still need to install the Win 95 OS, and drivers (from the top of the page).
Sorry, no complete disk image.

Re: TP 365ED modding floppy drive [Warning: images]
I'm assuming that the new drive won't read a disk correctly? If the heads are firmly stuck, you probably won't be able to insert a floppy disk enough to lock it in place.. I tried various modding attempts on several 701C and 365 external floppy drives with mixed results... You may be able to free th...

Re: Are the motherboards of my two ThinkPad T60s compatible?
You will need to take the interposer card from the 15" planar and apply it to the 14" planar, which allows connection to the DVD drive.
Other than that should be a straight forward swap.
And the upgrade to the SXGA screen will be a nice improvement you will enjoy!
Regards.

Did you run the Easy Setup Diagnostics on the base memory (with the IC Dram card removed), or did the error message show on the boot screen?

Re: Installing & Activating windows XP Tablet in 2021
Hi Welsh-Tim. As you discovered, the type of installation of WinXP depends on the serial number used to activate said installation... All WinXP installs contain all versions of XP...the install you get, and its' specific features, is determined by the serial number used to activate it. Regards. Dave

Sounds like you have a 14" planar, which is missing the interposer card. This is an electrically-conductive separate piece of the planar that converts a 14" board for use in a 15" planar. Post a Wanted-To-Buy in the Forum Marketplace, or check eBay. Check here for the part numbers: https://forum.thi...

Hi nokolon. Since you've connected to the Thinkpads Forum, you evidently have an Internet connection on some machine. Use that machine and download the drivers. If for Win 95, 98, W2k, etc, then they are less than 1 Mb, and will easily fit on to a floppy disk, or burn them to a CD. Copy the file(s) ...

Perhaps your Fujitsu drive needs to be re-partitioned to have a boot partition that the BIOS can see. Try to re-partition your 40 Gb Fujitsu drive with a small (<4 Gb) FAT partition. (FAT32 only with Win95 OSR2, the original Win 95 is 16-bit FAT). These units came originally with only either a 2.1 G...

Your 760C does indeed have a BIOS back-up battery. If the system did not beep on start-up or require a time/date to be reset, then: 1. The original battery is still functioning, or 2. It has already been replaced by a previous owner. If your DOS installation disk is good, then the system will read i...
