Re: T61 Nvidia Graphic Card dieing? Help please
Thanks for the replies. There has been a new development... This morning I tried switching back to the NVIDIA drivers, and everything is working fine on the external monitor, including 3D applications. Now I am thinking that it may be the LCD that is bad. Is there some guide that I could follow to c...

T61 Nvidia Graphic Card dieing? Or LCD? Help please
Hello, my T61 laptop has been working perfectly until yesterday, when Vista notified that the graphic card stopped responding but it resumed. It also notified me of "new" monitor found, when there was no monitor attached. I ignored the issue, thinking that a system restart would solve the issue. I c...

Turbo Memory New Drivers from Asus - Solved system freezes!
Hi all, I just wanted to share something that may be useful to some people experiencing random "system freezes" when leaving Turbo Memory enabled. Until now I have been using the official drivers from Lenovo (1.5.0.1013) and randomly my T61 would freeze with no apparent reason, especially while work...

I could not find any option in Vista to take snapshots. Where exactly is this option?
I have been using some freeware application to get pics and videos (from here), but I would rather use Vista's built-in feature if there is one. Thanks.

Solution is this: For me this fixed the timeout / BSOD problem: http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/imsm/sb/cs-025783.htm (iaStor not iaStorV) * Disabling APS didn't fix it (tho may have eliminated other BSODs) * Didn't need to uninstall Turbo Memory Driver P.S. Install the Intel Matrix Storage d...

BSOD - STOP Error 0x00008086
Hello, I recently got my T61. I performed a "clean install" of Windows Vista, and installed all the latest drivers for the various devices. The issue is, I am frequently getting BSODs (always with STOP error code 0x00008086) with no apparent reason. I have read posts suggesting that it may be becaus...
