I think it's easier to just make a set of recovery disks (or use the ones you've already made) and start over. That's what I did when I installed my SSD and it definitely worked fine.

That being said I also put a dab of loc-tite on each one when it is put back in the machine. :eek: Just make sure you use the lowest-strength Loctite!! (I'd never do this, BTW.)
