Re: T60, dock and USB ports
Finally! I think I've found a solution. It seems that the problem is related to power consumption from the USB ports. Yes, it's weird, because how much power may a keyboard and a mouse take? They report around 100mA each. I bought a 10-port self-powered USB-hub and the problem disappeared! Connectio...

you can replace your Verizon card with GPRS/UMTS(3G) card. Thanks for info, maybe one day I try that. Thanks for the information about APs. Just treat it as a hint, because I really don't know the real reason. At my friend's location I had a problem with Speedport W 700V AP from T-Com (Deutsche Tel...

Anyone solved this problem? I have exactly the same problem with T60 + Advanced Mini Dock 2504. The problem is reproducible in the easiest way by viewing any Flash-containing webpage with Firefox. But it happens in a number of other situations, too. More here: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph...

My solution is to keep internal display enabled, worked for me ever since. Hmm... I'll try this, but you know - I hate such stupid workarounds! I spent so much money on the laptop and on the docking station, that using these workarounds is just ridiculous! Be sure to search your dock's P/N or FRU ....

same problems
One year and no solutions??? I have the same problems - T60 + Advanced Mini Dock and keyboard, mouse and joypad being reconnected several times when working with some specific applications (like Firefox with Flash content, but not only there). I found a suggestion to update BIOS. Now I have version ...

GomJabbar: no, doesn't work. Ok, I tried with DLink DWL-650+ and... it works! After deeper investigation I realised that it is not related to hiding/showing AP's SSID. The most probable explanation is that when somebody else connects to this AP and uses speed of 22Mbps, my Intel cannot see this AP a...

Network Stumbler - very nice tool, but when the AP does not bcast its SSID, Network Stumber cannot see anything. moosport: I have tried both: manual profile and automatic one created when bcasts were turned on. Even tried to completely uninstall Access Connections. Next week I'll try with an externa...

Hidden SSID and Intel 3945ABG
I've had no problems with my T60 equipped with Intel 3945ABG wifi adapter until... I had to connect to the AP which does not broadcast its SSID. I cannot do that. Network is 802.11b/g. WEP 128-bit encryption. When I create manual profile - could not associate with AP. I have tried: - update adapter'...
