Re: New EU Consumer Protection Law Contains a Vague Website Blocking Clause

So the EU becomes totalitarian...by giving more power to national agencies? Moscow had also delegated power to individual communist bloc countries, still globally controlled. Sounds familiar? Re: Dell Ditches Plans For 4K OLED Monitor Due to Color Drift

Update of original article:

Despite all those high-end specs, there was said to be a problem with color drift at certain angles. But now Dell has begun shipping the display with a price tag of $3,500 too, which is $1,500 less than the originally stated price.

It does not look like success :(

The surveys were used to see how such a concept could be translated into a product and how many people were even interested.
I can't remember an option in these surveys along "Do you want very limited edition of T470 with 7-row keyboard and touchscreen available in 13 countries?"

I was using X250 12.5" 1920x1080 (176 PPI) with 100% zoom (Visual Studio code editor) for a while and it is just fine. The 2560x1440 14"has almost the same pixel density (209 PPI) while 14" 1920x1080 is too low.

Re: Ordered X270

IPS bleeding is typical for cheap display components Lenovo always prefer. No, you can't get decent display from Lenovo except few expensive models like P51 4K or T470s/X1Carbon WQHD, if you win the display vendor lottery . Low cost brands like Acer or MSI typically have better display quality than ...

Chuwi LapBook 12.3 (Celeron, 2K IPS) Laptop Review

Yes, it is cheap chinese underpowered laptop for 300 Euro. But the display parameters are still impressive. As one comments says: Wow, 300 euro notebook has better display than almost any T-series Lenovo.

Re: My experience with IPS panels, from T60 through x220/230 until the T460

Some 14" WQHD and 15" 4K (except P50) ones are the only decent panels, others are cheapest crap Lenovo prefers. White spots is typical Lenovo quality issue, especially on X1 Carbon.

Basically if you want a decent display you have to pick different brand than Lenovo :(

Most of routers won't get any update of course (because it is not Microsoft kernel based) and the only way would be to buy a new one. Similar to majority of Android devices.

It remains to be seen whether Lenovo actually intends to manufacture these parts (and perhaps, offer the Thinkpad 25 in additional locales), or whether these are just 'reserved' with no particular plans attached.
I don't think Lenovo want to do anything above those 5000 boxes.

In any case, this is something that can and will be fixed with a BIOS update, once someone brings it to Lenovo's attention.
Still wondering whether there is any quality control? Such issues would be found during first week of usage.
