Yes. In my case, all these procedures were followed.
As I mentioned, my device has lost its led for the second time. First time around it cost Lenovo over 2000 Dollars in spare parts to repair.
As far as the/my X61s goes, it's plain flawed in its design.

I have noticed last week two new updates for my Vista Ultimate:
Intel Mobile 965 Express Chipset (24/4/08)
Lenovo Input TrackPoint (24/4/08)

Both updates fail with error codes: 80200010 then 80070005 for 965 Express and 80070005 for TrackPoint.

Any ideas? Do you guys observe the same?
