One guy in my company also suffers this hibernation/standby issue. But His is a T61 A24, not T61p. However, I also think it's a software compatibility issue.

Just found my mobo's serial number. It's VF12878S13B. And my laptop's factory ID is "T". Also, I'm not using turbo memory due to my XP system.

Just ran Bioshock Demo for about 30 min, using 1920x1200 resolution, everything acts good. Glad to say my laptop is "complete". Thank all guys here.

I'm using T61p 6457AK1 also. Do u guys mean only 3D intensive games could cause the crash? I played some games like PES2008 using the highest quality, everything seems OK.

Also, when I close Skype, an error message could be thrown out sometimes, saying something like "access to memory address xxx denied, address xxx read only". Will this help to diagnose this issue? Just ran through latest PC doctor from lenovo, everything looks pretty OK.
