Hi,

now I tested different power supplies, power wall plugs, network cables
but the problem remains as described above.

There must be thousands of T42 model 2373 with XPSP2 in the field.
Has noone seen this behaviour on his machine? :o

The Switch is a SMC 8508T (721.8131)

Thanks

Thanks ssdaytona

Which router or access point do you use on the other side?
Do you know which Atheros chipset is build in?

Mine has a AR5212 chipset and definitely supports 108Mbit mode,
because I use it with PC cards.

:?

Cheers

... Don't worry it won't have any effect on the drivers, but will install the Client Utility just fine. After the install is complete it'll ask you to reboot. I'm using WPA-PSK (AES encryption) in WinXP just fine. Hi, here my update after installing the IBM model II card. I installed the IBM driver...

ssdaytona, Thank you for the clarification. I am just wondering what the right procedure to install is? Did you first run the \Install_CD\setup.exe from http://www.phoenixnetworks.net/atheros/vnc-cm9-330150.zip and then replaced the Atheros beta Driver - Ver. 3.3.0.150 with this http://www-307.ibm.c...

Great news ssdaytona, thanks a lot for the info. :D Did you install 1xwc15ww drivers with the IBM Client Utility or the Atheros one? Do you use Access Connections? If yes, which version? I wo...
