Personally, I would look for a replacement part on eBay & do it yourself! I will only cost a fraction of an authorized IBM repair specialist & you get all that fun! Seriously they really are not hard to do, often the hardest part is tracking down the part but if you get the IBM hardware maintenance...

Hi all.

On the screen of my 2373-P1U T42p screen I have a spot on the bottom in the middle that is "dull" and dimming. It is noticable and drives an obsessive guy like me crazy!

Does anyone else have this problem? Would my warranty cover this? How would it be fixed?

Doom 3 is totally playable on the GVU, I have no complaints. It isn't like watching a movie, but its close enough for me.
