Don't get me wrong, I adore my T60 for its thinnes, weight, design, and specs (especially after an HDD and RAM upgrade ). And it's true that if one wants to play games on a laptop one needs to buy a game-dedicated machine, or use a desktop for that purpose.

Correction: It doesn't spin. When I insert a CD it attempts at spinning it off but it stops, slows down and nothing happens. Extremely strange!

Now even a scarier thing is happening. I'm trying to boot from Windows XP's cd and it's not possible! It stops for a while before the Win XP logo popping up and the progress bar and nothing happens!
