Shipping CONUS

Anyone have any suggestions about shipping 30.00lbs worth of items cheaply and securely in the CONUS?

Any cheaper to break it up, could go into 5 different boxes if needed. Cheapest I have found is FEDEX ground and its $43.00!

Suggestions?

Re: Interest in A31 possible "P"

Pulled the type number from the BIOS, so Im thinking its NOT a "P", not trying to represent something its not....
Its clean, in nice shape for an old machine, less the screen.

Thanks

Interest in A31 possible "P"

Found this while I was pulling the T30's out. Its clean and is labeled as a A31p HOWEVER: The motherboard reports as a 2652-Q3U READ THE ABOVE INFO! Fired right up, the screen has significant discoloring at start up and only partially clears as it comes on line. CMOS battery is dead, and its holleri...

Interest in T30

I have 6 machines
4 KNOWN parts (more or less complete)
2 personal machines.

The 2 Personal machines have not been powered up in years, but both have the better screens, SXGA+. Both are 2.0 CPU with 2 gigs of RAM.

Any interest at $100.00?

All, I still get a few requests a year for these and they are still available. Easy transaction, make a donation and I send you a link. Roughly a week later I kill the link.

Its for a good cause!

It charges at around 500ma when plugged in with out the power supply. Plugged in 3 of the port provide more than 2 amps EACH. No issues ith charging multi cell phones at the same time, quickly.

I would rather not go through the hassle of a MoBo swap, so willing to pay a little more for barebones. Anyone have anything available?

Re: LF: (Physical or ISO/image) A31p Windows 2000 Recovery CD Set

I have a retail set of floppies and or an ISO, plus plenty of serials. Its been at least 10 years since I have messed with any of them. All are sitting on a NAS that I could host. NOT IBM, so you would need to load the drivers.

Re: Thin Client Question

No the Thin Client will be 100% stand alone. It has wireless for the Time Warner Hot Spot so I have internet. I dont want/need two monitors, mice or keyboards, so ill use the KVM to switch between them.

Will Windows 7 embedded allow me to search for parts via the internet?

Re: Wanted ThinkPad R40 Recovery CDs

I have a T30 set that should work. Best I recall and it has been years, it is what I used on my donated R40 machines. I think the only driver I needed to add was the Modem. A donation to Bills Wonderful Folly will get you a link to 6 Discs. Go towards the end of this thread and find out. http://foru...
