My x61s Has Cracks on the left side next to the "Esc" key. I can send it to Lenovo. But, I can't afford to be without the computer for 7-10 days. Have other people seen this problem with the case? I have other x61 units, but I could not simply swap the hard drive in order to send in the cracked unit...

I use a T30 AC adapter on the T43.
You therefore answered my question; the X61 will not take the T30 or T43 adapters.

Can I use these AC Adapters with my X61 or do I need to buy an extra one.
I have one at home and one at the office.

What is the best way to utilize a DVD drive with an X61?
Online in purchasing a unit they have a docking station and then a DVD with cost over $300 total.
