I noticed a slightly newer version of R&R on the Lenovo support page, so I upgraded from 4.21.0016.00 to 4.23.0016.00. For what ever reason, the upgrade nudge my backup listing and my USB backups are visiable again. Case closed for me!

This solved my chkdsk problem on my T61p running XP Pro I've had since day one. This also solved booting in Safe Mode and running PartitionMagic.
