I noticed a slightly newer version of R&R on the Lenovo support page, so I upgraded from 4.21.0016.00 to 4.23.0016.00. For what ever reason, the upgrade nudge my backup listing and my USB backups are visiable again. Case closed for me!

Missing fax component

Thanks, for the web reference, I attempted to use the Win32 Cabinet Self Extractor but it stops with a popup error, "A required resource cannot be located". I'm back to square one, I'll keep looking for a solution to this problem.

Fax component install failure on a pre-installed T61p

I have tried several times to install the fax component on my new T61p, the system responds with the message “Setup cannot copy the file fxsapi.dl_”. This file does exist in the “C:\i386” folder and appears to be accessible. I have administrator privileges and have done this type of installation on ...

This solved my chkdsk problem on my T61p running XP Pro I've had since day one. This also solved booting in Safe Mode and running PartitionMagic. :D
