Are you sayIng you can run w510 with dual dvi and dock with no special cable?

Are you using display Port or dual dvi?

I spent alot of time with lenovo support and they concluded that it would not work with dual dvi. just displayport.

I don't think that's quite true. If you have a dual link dvi monitor. I think there are displayport 30" monitors that support 2560x1600. Don't know the perf though. Never got it to work. Had a great conversation with a level 3 support guy at lenovo and we concluded it will not work. It does work perfect on the w500 dock to the dvi port. The cable I have says "Dual Link DVI Cable" and that drives the 2560x1600 perfectly. I returned (sadly) the W510 and am awaiti...

using the series 3 doc connected to the dvi port. 433710u is the part number for the doc

This worked for me on w500, but it keeps showing 1280x800. when I put the resolution in manually, it says test failed and does not work.
any ideas?

I have an X41, not a T41. Is the 1.8" drive in a standard form factor? what are my upgrade choices for that?

Fujitsu MHV2080AH ata-7, and it's the wrong size. same form factor as all my other 2.5" drives. What am I missing? What is the best way for me to refer to the drive which has the smaller form factor of my t41.

any suggestions on where to buy a new harddrive for my t41? Is it a standard 1.8" hard drive? I can't seem to find any obivous places that advertise the updated hard drive for this. Also, is there a 5400rpm or faster drive available for this system?
