Re: Water spill (x200T) advice needed

Yes, the location of the keys is close to the keys i'm pressing and sometimes when i press one key two letter or signs come up. I let it dry for about 3 days. I was wondering if i should use it if there is still some water (humidity) in the keyboard? Will it harm the laptop in anyway? I really hope ...

Water spill (x200T) advice needed

Hello I've been using x200 tablet for last two years and no doubt it's a great machine. Regretfully last Friday i spilled some water at the keyboard. Now when i type left half of the keyboard works perfectly fine but keys on the rights side are producing different characters then they should. I wond...

Upgrade to new i5/i7?

I was wondering... Could T510's motherboard accept new i5/i7 (revision/huron river etc.) or is the socket any different? I was thinking about upgrade just like some did upgrade their T60's to intel T7600 which was only offered in T61's. So is it possible or not?
Thanks!

Re: CD drive continues to power off (T510)

I hope that update helps, because I'm still getting sudden usb power off's (when I'm not using it, restart helps). I understand that we should save energy and all that but I would prefer that my laptop components stay on when I'm using it!

Well, that's too bad. However won't be changing my laptop just to get this ssd working. I don't think there is any physical limitation but it's just that it's not supported by bios or the motherboard in general. Maybe some bios update will change it later? Who knows....

Intel 310 ssd (mPCIe) in T510?

Hi, Can I use Intel 310 ssd which connects to mPCIe port in my T510? I understand that normally this port serves as wwan upgrade. However I read on some forums that you can use this port as a storage expansion in some Dell laptops I wonder if the same is true for Thinkpads. Lenovo just announced tha...

SSD in 2nd hdd caddy? (T510)

Hey guys, I want to buy an ssd drive and put it in the 2nd hdd caddy and boot system from it. My question is how will it affect overall performance of new drive? Are the drives in the 2nd hdd caddies able achieve same performance as primary hdd/ssd's?
Thanks!

64gb sdxc (X200T)

Hi Did anyone try to use sdxc card with x200T. I think it should work with x201T but I'm not sure about my x200T. SDXC cards are getting cheaper and I think paying around $100 for 64GB is not too much. So if anyone of you x200 or x200T owners had any experience with sdxc please let me know if it wor...

Re: Replacing the screen on T510?

Yup I changed dpi and its perfect right now. However the screen is already coming and I think I will try to swap them, then take few photos and then swap them back. If it accepts this "new" screen it will probably accept variety of other screens. I don't think FHD is RGBLED though...maybe it is, I d...

Re: Replacing the screen on T510?

Thanks for valuable advice. However it's almost out of warranty (1 year) anyway. I'm planning to get it from screencountry.com. They have T510 on the list so I guess it's the right one. I hope that all the other parts are compatible. The screen is only $63 so I guess it's worth to try. I will post t...

Replacing the screen on T510?

Hi, I ordered my T510 with FHD screen. The colors are nice although viewing angles could be better. However since the resolution is so high everything is painfully small. I've seen some replacement screens on ebay and I was wondering is it possible to replace the screen for the one with lower resolu...

Re: Need to replace my lcd

Original screen was getting old (green tint, low brightness). I think that X60t (like some of the T60's) have some issues with lcd quality on certain models (mine was boe hydis, new one is Toshiba).

Thanks for this info. According to Lenovo 13N7221 has G4 digitizer so I guess other then different lcd (Toshiba) it's pretty much the same part that I already have. It should work then I think I will actually get it. Thanks!

Need to replace my lcd

Hi, I need to replace my lcd, so I opened my laptop to check the fru. number. It's a 13N7216, I checked on ebay and only ones that are for sale are without digitizer (I don't think I'm competent enough to change it myself, the screen - yes, digitizer - no). However there is one auction which seems t...

Thanks! I'm using xubuntu linux (which works very well!) so I don't think there will be any problem with drivers. My screen is not terribly dim but it really looks yellow/green and I have to to admit that it's really annoying. Otherwise x60t is a really great little laptop!

Is lower resolution screen compatible?

Hi I have T510 with fhd screen. I would like to swap it with lower resolution screen from screencountry.com or ebay. Could somebody tell me if such a swap is possible and is it a straight swap or will I have to change cable/inverter or some other parts?
(Original screen is broken)

Thanks!

I have T60p in excellent condition. I would be willing to trade it for your x200. Let me know what's the price if we will trade laptops. How old is the affs screen in your x200? Thanks!
