For anyone interested, the solution for the ati v5250 video was a pack from finetuned for 10.5.6 and the 'ATIinject.kext'(which isn't included in the 10.5.6 pack) from another one his packs, presumably from a different(older) version of osX but no matter because it all seems to work fine, 1680x1050...

I'm running iDeneb 10.5.4 on my T60p and have a couple of minor issues, but this one is pretty annoying... If i boot with an external monitor connected to the vga port, everything works great. However, If i disconnect the monitor and reconnect it later, it just goes black. The system seems to see it...
