Change the BIOS to NOT report keyboard errors. Are you using a dock by any chance? These cause that error sometimes. Other things to check: -dirt or bent pins in the USB ports -(near)dead CMOS battery -remove the modem, see if that helps. I don't use dock. I cleaned the usb port with specific liqui...

I use a non-IBM ultrabay sata caddy in my T61 and my FrankiePad (T40 with R51 mainboard) and they work great. The caddy gives a great boost in speed, the standard HDD in my T40 had a read speed of 34MB/s, i currently have an OCZ 32GB SSD in the caddy, and the read speed is now about 83MB/s :banana:...

I've got the same problem with a t43p: it starts for a few seconds and then shuts down.
If the t43p is connected only with external monitor works fine: i think the problem is on motherboard and not in the panel lcd.
Suggesting?
