Hi, just curious if that 6235 card off eBay worked for you? if so, can you post a link?
Thanks!

X60s, Adding a serial port, is it possible?

I hope this makes sense, I need to add a native serial port to the laptop because of some specialized equipment I work with that will not work with a USB type adapter (believe me, I've tried about half a dozen different ones). What I've been having to do is carry my ultrabase with me to use the seri...

x60s palm rest question

The palm rest on my x60s has a chip right above the PC card eject button and I'm afraid it may crack and get bigger.
So I've looked on eBay for a replacement palm rest, but have only found some for the x60... so my question is, will the x60 palm rest fit my x60s (1702-37U)?
Thanks!

Re: Windows 7 on x60s - will not resume from sleep

OK, I only have 2 memory modules in the system so I tried booting up with one at a time and going into sleep mode, but still could not resume. I also enabled "Diagnostics Boot Mode" in BIOS so that extended tests would be run on RAM and other onboard hardware, and the system booted OK with no errors...

Re: Windows 7 on x60s - will not resume from sleep

I ran the report and cleared all but one of the "errors" it found, but it still won't resume from sleep. Here's the text of the report: Power Efficiency Diagnostics Report Computer Name x60s Scan Time 2009-07-31T19:19:47Z Scan Duration 60 seconds System Manufacturer LENOVO System Product Name 170237...

Windows 7 on x60s - will not resume from sleep

I posted this in the OS Board, but windows 7 isn't beta anymore so here's a copy of the post: I have installed Windows 7 OEM (not beta) using only lenovo drivers and can not get it to resume from sleep. Resume from hibernate works ok. I have tried enabling/disabling hybrid sleep, installing/uninstal...

Re: Protective sleeve on eBay

I agree, I wouldn't want to force it into anything, much less have it loose inside a sleeve. I'm looking for something to protect my x60s w/8cell, inside my backpack. I'm liking the "Built NY 12i" and "ZeroShock" sleeves, but am still holding out for the better of the two.

Re: Protective sleeve on eBay

I can see that the "Built NY 12i" and the "ZeroShock" sleeves are obviously better than anything I've seen on eBay.
My question now is, which one of the two is the best bet?

Protective sleeve on eBay

Hi everyone, first post here.
Has anyone bought one of these?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0154402774
or
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0101770349
They look pretty cool, but I'm curious as to what protection they would have if dropped.
Thanks!
