azndude5003, can you reupload the pics to another web server or attach it or something? I'm behind China's GFW and for some reason I can't see (due to huge crackdown recently).

Re: X200s USB socket extremely tight
My X200s has a tight left rear USB port as well. Same problem as yours. I think most X200s models will be like this. It would be pointless to return it. Just slide each USB device in firmly and slowly. Everything should be okay and it should loosen up with time.

Re: T400 WiMax Device not detect on XP SP3
I've kind of fixed half of the problem now. I installed a newer version of WiMax drivers for XP x86 and the drivers install properly and you can see the hardware show up in Device manager. However, the WiMax feature is not showing up in my Access Connections window. It's not linked for some reason. ...

Re: T400 WiMax Device not detect on XP SP3
I get the same problem on my XP SP3 clean install. The WiMax is not detected even after installing the WiMax drivers. In Win7 RC the WiMax is detected just fine. Can anyone help?

Did you install all the official registry tweaks that Lenovo provides for Vista? They should have a few concerning sleep mode problems.

Just install Win7 via a USB flash drive. I installed Win7 RC1 via a flash drive onto my X200s successfully.

Re: safe to use X200 without battery?
The logic is to prevent pulling too much juice from the power supply, thus damaging it. Usually happens only with 65W power adapters. With 90W it should still allow the CPU to run at full speed. With both the battery and AC plugged in, doesn't the battery sit idle though? Wouldn't it be using the s...

Re: safe to use X200 without battery?
You also have to remember the CPU will not run at the highest clock speed if there is no battery connected. For instance my X200s with a SL9400 will drop to about 1596 MHz if there is no battery. I'm not sure what the logic to this is?

Have you considered helping her configure Outlook to create archive pst files so not every email and attachment is in a single large pst? That should help with the speed. If she is using outlook 2007 try updating to SP2 they have improved Outlook pst performance.

Re: SL9600 option on X200s!
Funny, those announcements say it's for Lenovo Europe, Middle East, and Africa with product availability in May. The SL9600 option "error" was also on the US based site. Lenovo is such a tease. I'm waiting for my SL9400 equipped X200s and I will be really upset with Lenovo if the SL9600 comes out af...
