1. No.

2. No. In fact, with the 3-cell battery, the front is lower than the back. With 6-cell ists quite even. You won' t notice it as long as you dont turn over the notebook.

3. You dont put your hand there while typing, your palms will rest below it.

Issue #2 (reset of number of scrolling lines) is due to Synaptic driver. It can be solved by installing a newer one from Synaptics website directly. No. The Lenovo tried to cut on costs and built a [censored] cheap ALPS Touchpad in the X300 instead of the good Synaptic. Its also a lot less responsi...

X300 have the HDAPS. Of course its useless for the SSD but perhaps for later "upgrade" to magnetical disk or as you say for other purposes.

Dunno about X200.

What is also unacceptable is the idiotic placing of the important Control key. Why on earth would you put a different key in its position??? Is there a way to switch Ctrl and Fn key around? Hi Vpn-User. I installed the new driver you posted, on X300/VistaX32/Lenovo-MC8775. Installation went smooth. I hope it will solve all issues. I wonder why so many people use an 32Bit OS with 4GB while they can actually use only 3GB at all? server 2008 enterprise x86 (which i'm using) can address up to 64GB. Dont want to argue on this but I am right. You might read on here: http://blogs.msdn.com/dcook/archive/2007/03/25/who-ate-my-memory....
