I have problem on my thinkpad z61m, 40% of lcd bottom screeen is covered with vertical lines.
Is it problem in flat cable or lcd panel?

I believe so. That's likely as close as you'll get to the original one... It seems that even 41W1292 mobo won't work on my laptop, I got 4 beeps and blank screen on startup, that's system board according to manual... So what can I else do now? It's really hard to find mobo with original fru 42R9964...

Do you have information about 44C3876, is it similar to yours 44C3878 and maybe compatibile with my laptop?

That's a pretty awesome Z61m... That's a true... b) The boards that would be compatible with your machine include but are not limited to: 41W1292, 42W2168 and 44C3878. What a sin...that's a nicely spec'd machine... Try removing the RAM and see whether the laptop beeps when powered on with no RAM... Good luck. Nope...nothing... I suspect on CPU because its cold when i touch it with finger, GPU and mobo chip goes very quickly on higher temperature when powered on.....
