i just put this 600e together and i cannot figure out the display,ive got 2 choices 2 color and 16 color @ 640 x 480.
can i get true color or at least 256?

i understand this error means no bootable device .I get this error after i press the f1 key on the insert disk screen. how do i get it to boot ?600e series machine

yep the whole thing got hot.so if there is a seperate d/c card or something maybe it didnt hurt the mother board probably burnt some diodes.i can put my hands on another used motherbord for cheap.but that would take all the fun out of figureing out why and what went wrong,tinkering you know.lol the ...

i had a simlar problem with a 760 and never could figure it out,i would get to the command prompt and try to format the hd and no matter what hard drive i used i couldnt get past the command prompt.my best guess was a motherboard problem.if you figure it out let me know it will make good reference i...
