For Harryc on costcentral: how will I know what warranty can be purchased for my laptop? I see quite a few for x60 but why is a 3yr 100ish and 2yr 200ish?

Warranty expired about 5 days ago but Lenovo will give me 90 days to extend it.....$259 for 2 yrs depot...didn't know if I can do better as laptop is worth $500 or so, but irreplaceable to me, as I LOVE it!! Hopefully I can find an affordable solution!!

Hello, looking to extend the warranty on my x60 model 1709-h6u. I am most likely interested in the 2 yr depot service. Is 2 yrs the longest I can extend, as it the 3 yr in-home just expired? I have a 1709-H6U X60 Thinkpad that is having some issues....of course the day the warranty expired was yesterday :( I was using it today on battery power for about an hour and the meter was still almost full. All of a sudden it just dies, didn't go into hibernate or anything. Would not restar...
