Many many thanks to Harryc - we got our new set of discs in a beautiful package and I'm writing from our newly restored and happy X41! The new solid state hard drive that necessitated having the restore disks is working great, too! Hoo-ray!

My boyfriend and I are in mid-drive-replacement on our X41 tablet, and the disks we have for restoring the system on our X41 are also bad.
