Still there on the X301, albeit very dark with no reflective white paint on it. The ThinkPad logo is also there on the corner. Manufactured 6/2009.

That's a good question. I don't know why the Lenovo USB-to-DVI solution doesn't work on the X60... perhaps it's because the computing power isn't enough?
