Re: T43 AC Adaptor Dead?
I think the spare ac cable somehow killed the adapter coz after I switched my main adapter to the spare ac cable, it does not work anymore and this is probably the case for my spare adapter as well.
Now I'll have to do this. Anyone try it before?

Re: T43 AC Adaptor Dead?
OMG now my main ac adapter is also dead! I tried to switch the ac cable between the main and spare ac adapter with the ac cable plug still connected to the electrical extension.
Does this cause the adapters to die?

I've a spare original t43 AC adapter laying around, I want to use it again but does not power up/charge the battery when plugged it in my t43. Tried is with the main adapter and my T43 is able to power up/charge the battery. I think it's dead but what are the chances of that? The AC adapter build qu...

Re: X220 (and X201, X200) USB 3.0 Expresscard
I'm using this ake expresscard 54mm 2 x esata card on my t43 and it works great! Plug and play on Win7, maybe going to try out Win8 and hope it'll work.
The only minor issue I've is the connectors does not provide any locking thus the esata cables can be easily removed thus disconnecting the hdd.

Re: My T50 review with MANY LARGE pictures
No hdmi output, usb3.0 ports, expresscard 54 slot... will give it a miss. :( That's good as I doubt very few, if any, of us will get our hands on this MB. Reading lazycat's thread above there's only 58ish machines floating around. It's not like we can order a Gigabyte MB from Newegg install in our ...

Re: Painfully feeling forced to leave XP for Windows 7 on T42
I'm using Win7 after finding out WinXP does not support more than 2TB HDD capacity. It's work great, with all the hardware drivers!
Maybe when I've time will try out Win 8.1.

Re: T43 100% CPU Usage
Managed to found a workaround for this!
My T43 connected to my 32" LCD TV via VGA port running XBMC is able to play all 720p videos smoothly (lag on 1080p)!
Now my T43 is a NAS + media player! Next step is find a remote control!
Thanks for all the replies!

T43 100% CPU Usage
Hi all, I recently installed XBMC on my T43p machine running on Win7 and uses the Wake On Lan function to start-up as a media player. The 54mm express card does not mention ESATAp or Power eSATA. The cable is for laptops with a ESATAp port. Re: T43 - boot blank screen
Ok, will take a look at F2 fuse. Any idea how can I check for the BGA failure? If these are the cases, will it still work if I connect to the external monitor?
BTW, can I confirm that the minimum attached components are processor (even without the fan) and memory in order to see the BIOS screen?

I tried the LCD on another T43 and it's working fine so that rule out the LCD inverter.
