hey, i recently totalled my T40. im looking to get another thinkpad, but im not sure whether i should get a T40 or a T41 off ebay. T41s seem to go for about $100 more than T40s.. but they seem pretty similar to me. is there even any difference between the T40 and T41? my T40 SXGA had a pretty washed...

i dropped my T40 a week ago. it was closed and landed on a sharp edge. the top cover was pierced, and it pierced through enough to bend the LCD screen. now, when i turn on the comp, i get a lot of funky colors all over the place.. im guessing this isnt covered by IBM warranty. is there any CHEAP way...

in my dell desktop LCD its possible to change the color temperature of the screen from 6500K (a little red) to 9300K (more bluish and relaxing on the eyes). is this feature possible on my T40? is there any aftermarket software that will let me do this?

i have through the ATI tab. it still looks worse than my old dell laptop... can someone please tell me what settings they use for their screen? ie, ATI contrast/gamma/brightness settings. is there any other settings i should mess with? thanks in advance

LCD's don't have refresh rates. Yep. It is, however, customary to treat all LCDs as having 60Hz "refresh rate". hi, in my Display Properties, /Advanced/Adapter, i set my refresh rate at 60hz. however, when i goto the ATI tabs, there is a tab that says my screen is only running at 50hz. is it supposed to be like this? if my screen really running at 50hz, could this explain why my eyes feel strained and blurry ...

im looking to add wifi functionality (a/b/g) to my T40 ( 2373-EU3 ). i dont want an external card... i want a internal one.. is this possible? also, i heard that IBMs have wifi antennas in the LCD. is there anyway to add that too? if so.. how much will this whole ordeal cost me? thanks in advance!
