I have heard a rumor... on another forum, that stuck pixels (not dead ones) can sometimes be fixed by rubbing the spot where they occur with a cloth. Anyone ever heard of this?

I'll give it a go when I have a chance and post my results.

Well, I thought I had a perfect screen.... but I just ran the tests, and there she was. A red pixel I hadn't noticed. Well... as much as I am a perfectionist, I just can't see sending this thing back for one bad pixel. Of course now I'm going to notice it all the time. Wish it was in a corner.... Bi...

Yeah... the TABOOK seems to be godlike in its omniscience -so that is a good thing. Once I found the bluetooth, all the specs checked out.

As for my screen... I haven't found any dead pixels yet, and none are stuck on. So I think I lucked out. We'll see if it stays that way.

My 2379DX shipped today! I ordered it on 5/17 On my order slip, the estimated ship date was 6/29 - (i was dissapointed) Then on the web site the status page told me to call - (i was kinda scared) Then yesterday... the status changed to Customizing/Packaging, and the site said it would take around 5 ...
