I'm pretty sure it contains applications and updates, and the information to allow the IBM/Lenovo Software Installer to determine what version you have installed, so it knows whether to install an update or not. I actually did delete ALL IBM-related folders I could find on my computer (besides the ...

Just a thought, what type of (if any) backgraound do you have? Have you changed it lately and did the problem begin about then or is there no connection..? I really do not know what the problem could be but on a few non-laptop-Windows there has been quite a few 'performance' problems when running so...

I could, of course, map some combo (eg. Alt+Shift+X for 'Play') but the thing is my external keyboard (the one from IBM) already has buttons for 'Play', 'Pause', 'Next', 'Previous', 'Stop', etc. They are just mapped to Window's Media Player... :( I was wondering if there is an IBM (or ThinkVantage) ...

External keyboard and (advanced?) remapping
I have a T42 with an external keyboard (some IBM-type with 'Rapid Access keys' on top, big blue 'Access IBM'-key as well as the keys for controlling media player, sound and 'Back'/'Forward'). I have succesfully remapped all the keys I want with the 'Keyboard Customizer' and the Hotkey driver. What I...

Default connection profile
I have two almost identical Ethernet-profiles; one for work and one for home. Older version of AC let me choose wich is the default on which location; at home I got 'home ethernet'-profile and at work 'work ethernet'-profile. Now this setting is at lost. Anyone know how to set/enable this..?

So what you mean is that there is no way (with Access Control) to setup the proxy for Firefox? I specially need to set the proxy since I use my ThinkPad at home (with no proxy) and at the office (where there is a mandatory company proxy - that cannot be accessed outside the company LAN) and it would...
