FWIW: I purchased a 1.8" 64 gb ssd made by crucial. The problem is it has a sata interface but the laptop has ide. I figured I could save $100 using a sata drive over buying a ide drive and just use an adapter. Using a sata to ide adapter I was able to connect the drive to the laptop in this manner....
