No, it points to the RIGHT. If you look at the photo at the very bottom of the page => mSATA adaptor, you can see what it looks like with the drive installed to the adaptor.

Just how do you think the [bbq]adapter/SSD is going to fit in your T42, huh? Can you elaborate on why you think it won't. The dimensions of the drive with adaptor are smaller than a 2.5" PATA drive. with the 1.8" eBay SATA-to-PATA adapter it is easily recognized that the new adapter you (bbq) are mentioning cannot be used!
