Re: T440/p CLUNKPAD: Pics and installation of T450 Synaptics and Alps Touchpad+buttons

I just installed my SYN T450 touchpad and it's wonderful, however is was not without some driver troubles. I uninstalled the original driver then installed the windows 10 driver after I did the editing to the driver the install failed. This was due to driver signing I used powershell to disable driv...

Re: Transplanting an X60T Sxga+ screen to a X61T

Hi All. Just an FYI. Within the past month I purchased one lot of four off-lease X60 Tablets (6363-HAU) from this eBay seller. They were advertised as being in excellent condition, and not only were the SXGA Flexview screens sharp and bright, the machines themselves were almost flawless. The sale i...

Re: Transplanting an X60T Sxga+ screen to a X61T

The power and ram capacity of an X61 with the flawless sxga screen of the X60 I like it.:) I don't like it....I love it! Flash Middleton's BIOS, a nice SSD, 4 GB RAM and Win 7 is what I do. Win 8/8.1 is meh for me as I had driver issues and could not get the tablet buttons to work. As a bonus, I mu...

Oh sorry that's what I meant. Now luckily I am looking at model that both have the WAN feature and Bluetooth so I imagine it will be seaming less I would be terrified to break open a tablet LCD assembly it will probably never be the same if I did. Transplanting an X60T Sxga+ screen to a X61T

Hello,

I am interested if you can take a SXGA+ screen off an X60 Tablet and put it on an X61 Tablet with an XGA screen. Is this possible? Also is it possible to take the XGA off the X61 and put it on the X60.

ThinkStation S20 as a server?

Hello, I am looking for opinions on making a ThinkStation S20 into a server. Is it worth while? My biggest thing is hard drive space in RAID, a powerful CPU and RAM. I believe is is a good system for this under $500 roughly but it seemed like I am wasting the video card functionality and physical sp...

I am attempting to use the WWAN freature on my X60T but I can't find the proper activator for Telus. I used the one for AT&T from Lenovo but it fails. Any ideas? Has someone succeeded at doing this?

I have the machine now and the screen is excellent tons of space. I think for the time being I am going to leave it alone. With the unit being Sata1 is it worth putting an SSD in it?

Good this is my safe route around the bubbling issue. I recently brought an X60 with sxga+ (6363-HAU) for just under $200 in total. would it be worth it to get an xga based X61t and swap the screens?

Sxga+ X60T lid on a X61T?

I am curious if I can take a X60T with an SXGA+ screen as well as the housing and put it on a X61T that has an XGA panel. If this is possible what work would I have ahead of me in a nutshell?

T42 14.1'' XGA to SXGA+ panel

Hello,

I have read much about swapping a 14.1'' XGA with an SXGA+ screen but I am confused is to what needs to be replaced. I gathered that I need to replace the panel and the ribbon cable but I am not certain if I need to replace the inverter. Can someone confirm this for me?

Thank you.

Does this screen have the EDID in it? If so is it programmed to be compatible with the T60s?

I have not purchased this screen. I am trying to find a new or slightly used screen for a fair price. I see new UXGA screens for T60s but they are worth $200 plus. Also I think I will stay away from that screen.

I dont have the T43 screen on hand.

I am currently looking at this ebay listing:

The seller informed me that it will work in a T60 but I am unsure of that.
