If you have iso, you need to burn them to physical dvd and boot with them to restore

I dont have the # number with me, but it seems the t470s screen (laptop from work) has worse screen than the t460s i have. Both are 1920x1080. or am I just not used to the t470s screen.

Ok I see what you mean, the regular t460 has sata, 460s does not. I think I should have gotten the 460p which has both sata & m.2

It does not output to certain type of monitor, i'm currently using an usb to dvi adapter but i think its chewing up cpu power.. I'm also using a cable off amazon.. anyone have better luck?

Nope, didn't order yet, I actually have a x230 i dont even use.. new in box for 2 years now... ill check my existing one to see if its IPS, if not ill order IPS for my x230 and give my x220 my x230 screen

I inherited a broken x220i with crack screen. So the lenovo site used to tell you what parts your pc was shipped with, I dont see that option any more. Anyone know ?

So if that's the case, I'll have to pull the screen out first? Is IPS an option or not for 220i ?

second problem, when you are in tablet mode, the screen does not rotate, might be a software/driver issue, i just dont know what.. the pinch to zoom does not work in windows 7

so if you want those feature, i skip this model, if you dont use them, it works pretty well

one thing i noticed in win 7, when you fold it in tablet mode, the touchpad still works.. in windows 8, it disables it.

Oh btw you do need a windows 7 key though...

so far everything works, pen, touch screen. installing wireless and downloading everything else.. i might keep this as windows 7 if it works

Installing now.. used the windows 7 usb dvd maker to move the iso into usb. It just finish installing.. rebooting..

Last year they had mandatory internal battery, i just check the configs, the internal battery can be an option. and I saw the warranty, the internal battery isn't cover unless you get the warranty with battery coverage.

There are some issue, I can't figure it out, wifi randomly disconnect, the intel ac wireless adapter. Laptop randomly go into sleep mode while docked and while I'm working.
