Anyone know of a list of definitely compatible wireless cards for the t43/p?

T43 cooling.

So, after the sata mod I replaced the fan assembly with the intel board version. It's finally time to test the temperature differences since the silver has had time to settle and all I can say is woooow. I am going to wait until another few hours of up time before I post the temperature differences ...

Re: (Question)T43 with sata mod.

Are you almost done with that idea? I am no longer the only one sounding like a broken record. Here is a clearer explanation if my previous ones were not getting through. If I were looking on eBay for a T43, this is someone who is all setup to do the mod himself, he would not pay $100 extra for a T...

Re: (Question)T43 with sata mod.

Yeah I'd have to say just from experience in the Radio world of electronics having a mod like this done would most certainly be worth $100 to be proper. Does that mean you think it's worth less, maybe... but it's a marketplace and it comes down to what someone will do it for. Not only that, someone...

Re: (Question)T43 with sata mod.

Yeah... knowledge of electronics doesn't get you the equipment needed to do this mod, let alone the patience or understanding. If you want to do it quick, ugly, and not-so-thorough, you can just cut tracers with a knife and such... crude and works, but not really what I'm talking about here. What I'...

I'm curious, is there a tangible price for a T43 with the sata mod done?

Re: T43p SATA Guide (Beware pictures, 56k-ers)

After some tinkering, now that I'm not working on 4 hours of sleep going on the third day, I've found that the screw pulls the adapter inward which causes the disconnect. The easiest fixes for this (now that there isn't enough material on the adapter to change the terminal holes) are to loosen the b...

Re: T43p SATA Guide (Beware pictures, 56k-ers)

I used a pair of pliers and just crushed the black plastic from the old IDE connector (held in place by the soldered contacts). Then used a soldering iron to remove the 44 old pins. Theoretically you can cut them all of with a small wire cutter, but unsoldering them looks a lot neater. You can prob...

The info is all there in this thread. SATA connections: http://mikejmoffitt.com/images/sata/pins_drive.jpg You only need one Ground and one +5V connection (any, or 2 or all of the 3 within the group). Ground I used coming from former IDE pin 40 off the mobo. (more grounds if you want: 2, 19, 22, 24...

Keyboard *BEEP*

When playing a game like World of Warcraft, when you start spamming buttons the *BEEP BEEP* starts when you press more than one at the same time. Just boot an OS disc and look for things you can't see while you're in your OS. If that doesn't show you anything then read the drive label.

what kind of 'deal' are you looking for on a 780? i may have one available. Well, the lowest I've found so far is $60 and I've been told that's too high. So running World of Warcraft and a movie at the time, the GPU wouldn't go above 64c and the CPU is at 54c. Soooo that's boring. Still going to try the intel board fan assembly (after I mod it) and some other things I guess while I wait to find a deal on a P M780.

Ok, now go to Disk Management and take a screen shot and send it to me. This can save us a lot of back and forth guessing and trouble shooting.

I'm guessing your shrank a volume by accident. So the end solution will likely be deleting a partition and then making a new one with full capacity.
