Re: Humanoid's review of the x120e

Good review. I have a x120e coming in the mail soon and plan to run SL6 on it. From what I understand, I will have to run fglrx on the 2.6.32 kernel to get anything above VESA, and support for the wireless has been backported from 2.6.38. It also looks like I'll just create four primary partitions ...

A couple weeks ago I was able to get a new X120e (E-240 single core) from lenovo outlet for $357 shipped to my door. Quite a savings vs lenovo.com. Came with Win7 Home Premium 64, 2GB RAM, 3 cell battery. I saw some of the X100e's when they were available going for much more than that. It may be a w...

Re: x120e: Anyone else have undersensitive up-arrow key?

I just got my x120e, typing on it right now, and I don't have this issue. All the arrow keys require about the same amount of travel to register. I'd say if it bothers you enough, like if you repeatedly have to hit it twice to register, inquire about a replacement.

Re: X120e - E240 or E350?

Thanks, both of you.

ausmike, I actually purchased the one on the outlet for $332. Great deal, and even though its the E-240, I believe for my needs it will suffice. So far I am quite happy.

X120e - E240 or E350?

Hi, long time reader of this board and haven't posted simply due to the wealth of knowledge already here. Last night my faithful R32 drive bit the dust, and instead of paying $55 for a replacement ATA drive I'm seriously considering an X120e (and have been for a while). Mainly I'm attracted to this ...
